Trying to decide between a contemporary styled engagement ring or vintage-styled engagement ring can be a very difficult. Vintage-styled rings have intricate designs that are reminiscent of family heirlooms. The rings give the appearance of a vintage piece of jewelry from a bygone era without the expensive upkeep that is needed to maintain an older vintage ring. On the other hand a contemporary engagement ring, the latest design styles that are current and inspired by the fashion scene.
Whether you are seeking engagement rings with old-world charm, or a modern piece with a decidedly 21st century design. Their are many designers who specialize in engagement rings such as Natalie K.
Vintage engagement rings come in a varied of designs. Halo engagement rings are a highly sought after choice that is favored by celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Jennifer Garner, Mariah Carey and the late Princess Diana, who wore a royal sapphire and diamond halo engagement ring. The ring’s enduring popularity is largely due to its understated and classy style.
Contemporary engagement rings are an option for women with an eye for the latest designs. These rings feature clean lines and designs that are modern and cutting edge. Contemporary rings range from pear-shaped diamonds to gold twisted split-shank halo diamonds with diamond encrusted white-gold bands. Many jewelry designers have incorporated black diamonds and black rhodium to create even more contemporary designed engagement rings.
For women who love old style charm with new stones and metal, classic engagement rings blend old and new with traditional designs that create a timeless engagement ring.
For head-turning jewelry, yellow diamond engagement rings exude a warm glow with fancy yellow diamonds shining against sparkling clear diamonds.
If you’re looking for a way to celebrate your lasting love, three stone rings offer a beautiful way to symbolize your relationship’s past, present and future with three designer gems. For the couple in it for the long haul, eternity and anniversary rings offer elegant options of announcing your lasting love to the world.

Christmas Spectacle
I am trying to upload all the videos of the performance of the kids in the christmas spectacle but unfortunately I cannot find the time. Also all videos are in HD, so uploaded takes a lot of hours. But I am really proud of our little girl. She really can carry herself as an emcee. She did not even have nerves. Well, maybe because she is still young and does not recognized fear yet. I remember during my time, I would be a bunch of nerves whenever I am up in the stage. It took a lot to maintain my composure and carry on with my role. Here is one part of their program. Notice how she kept on getting the microphone. haha. That's because it was her time to speak.

Fulfilled Promise
Last October the little girl had a field trip in Residence Inn. And when she saw the picture of her schoolmate trying the zip line she asked me why she was not able to ride it also. I told that to the husband so he promised the little girl that once he got home they would go to Tagaytay and try it. And I am so proud of my husband because he was able to fulfilled that dream. I think even if he needs to buy white noise machine he would if it would make his daughter happy. Yesterday, they were able to ride the zip line and cable car in Tagaytay. Anevay was scared but happy. She keeps on talking about their experience and I think the husband enjoys it as well. This is one of the reason why I love the husband so much.

Passed!
Last December 3, Anevay have taken an entrance exam for Grade 1 in St. Scholastica Academy here in Marikina. We were in St. Scho around 7:30 because we were asked to be there at 7:45. Prior to the exam, Anevay was interviewed twice by two different guidance counselor. The first one talked to me also and asked me if I am really enrolling Anevay as Grade 1. I told her yes and I was referred to the head guidance. The head explained to me that it seems Anevay is not yet ready for Grade 1 since she is very 'malikot' and cannot sit still for a few minutes. She has poor concentration according to them. I was asked again if I am sure if she would be grade 1. I told them yes. A few days after, the registar called our house and asked me to bring the card of Anevay from her first school. They again talked to me about Anevay and I was told that if she fail the exam she would be able to enroll. I told them it's okay since I still have other option. And come result day, I was happy because the little girl did not disappoint me. She was able to passed her exam and can enroll in St. Scho as Grade 1 :) Indeed, I am one proud mama!

Apple Tree Children’s Center: The Top Connecticut Day Care Center
Choosing a day care center for your child should not be taken lightly because you want the best possible care for your child even when you are not there to give it to them. There are many things you should consider before you decide on a particular center you want to send your child to. If you live in the Connecticut area, there are many Connecticut day care centers that you can choose from but among the top centers you can choose is the Apple Tree Children’s Center.
Apple Tree Children’s Center is a CT daycare that is a part of the Bradford Child Care Services. It is also a CT preschool so they accept children from infant to preschool ages. Below are
some of the reasons why Apple Tree Children’s Center should be among your top choices of Connecticut day care centers.
• Stimulating environment. Every child needs adequate stimulation for him to develop his potential at the right pace. Apple Tree Children’s Center provides a stimulating environment that will harness not just his physical but also his emotional development. If you are looking for a Connecticut day care center that stimulates, educates, and nurtures, then the Apple Tree Children’s Center might be the right one for your child.
• Professional and qualified staff. Among the primary considerations of every parent when choosing a daycare center are the people who will be looking after the child. Apple Tree Children’s Center only employs a team of qualified professionals and caregivers who can adequately supervise your child as well as provide safe and loving care. If you only want caring and loving people to look after your child, then you can find them at the Apple Tree Children’s Center.
• Age-based programs. Children develop and interact differently at different ages which is why it is not a good idea to put children of all ages in a single program. This is not a problem with Apple Tree Children’s Center because their programs are designed for specific age groups so that each child can learn according to what is comfortable for his age and learning style.
• Collaboration with parents. Parents are still the primary caregiver of their children and they are the ones who know their children best. The Apple Tree Children’s Center recognizes this and collaborates with parents so that they can give the best possible care to the children entrusted to them. There is prompt exchange of information between this CT daycare center and the parents so that the children’s individual needs are met and always taken into consideration.
If you are based in Connecticut, the reasons listed above are more than enough to send your child to the Apple Tree Children’s Center. Visit this CT daycare center and see for yourself.

Winter Clothes
I am just waiting for our VISA and I would start buying some winter clothes for me and the little girl. No, I am not planning to buy kelty tents but some jackets, gloves, scarfs and hats. I really need to make sure that I am fully suited or else I would suffer the cold weather. I am already anticipating some joint pains along the way but I am still praying that God will give me the strength so that we can enjoy our one month vacation. I do plan to have some serious shopping when we go to Kuwait so despite those shopping plans I also try to do some budgeting to make sure that we have enough funds when we are there. I am quite excited but still edgy because our documents are not yet fully accomplished.

Sentiments about Bullying
I admit that there are times when Anevay would tell me that one of her classmates hurt her in school and sometimes tell her some words that she finds hurtful. I don't really consider this stuff as bullying yet. I think they are part of the kids playfulness and exploring years. But I wanted to share with you a dialogue in Rookie Blue. A series about policemen. This conversation is between Tracy and his boyfriend Jerry. Tracy is a single mom who juggles her career in the police academy and taking care of her kid while Jerry is a detective who she have a relationship.
TRACY : I already told Leo that fighting back is not the answer, there is good in everyone you just have to find it
JERRY : So, you lied to him. Trace, one thing that I've learn in this job is to expect the worst out of everyone and if I'm wrong GREAT but some people, a lot of people are just plain BAD!
TRACY : I choose to believe in the fundamental goodness of human nature.
Who do you empathize with ?

Call Maid Service
Every day I wake up, moving out of the bed is always a challenge as well as moving around the house and doing the chores. This is one of the many symptoms of LUPUS. We call it morning laziness and most of the time it is so hard to overcome such condition because if you fight it, you would end up with a severe fatigue issue. Sometimes, when it’s not my day, I also suffer from joint pains making my movement so painful. So, my rule is taking it slow and house work would just have to wait. Because of this, I have now a daughter who is complaining that our house is so dirty. Well, I wanted to blame myself but my every understand husband would always say to me that my health is a priority and I should not be thinking about those worries. I just have to do it when my body is well and would permit such task. But he also suggested on me taking on some help. He told me that if I still am not into the idea of hiring a stay in house help I would just have to find a cleaning service that can perform general cleaning even just once a month. I am hoping I could find a reliable cleaning service like Maid Service Reston VA they have a wide range of cleaning service that would really leave your house dust and germ free. Hopefully there would be something of this nature in our area.

Frustrations
I have been in some frustrating situation a couple of days ago. I was left regretting some decisions that I have made in the past. I know I should not cry over spilled milk but still I can't help but blame myself for trusting some things. So, I decided to change this and hopefully God would allow me to make the changes. If not, I guess I just have to accept the fact and move on. But for now, I can still see the light at the end of the tunnel. And I can still be happy with our current situation.
