Drug Rehab

I always get emotional when I see something that reminds me of a deceased friend. He was a friend ever since kindergarten. We have a lot of differences but I don't know somehow we stick together. I was always the one he goes to when he has a problem. Unfortunately things have change between us when we entered college. I lost both my parents and we ( with my siblings ) decided to move to the city. At that time, I hear rumors that he is having his addiction problem.

I already knew about that problem when we are still in high school. But he and his family kept on denying it. And I think that has worsen his problem. If only they acknowledge his problem earlier and have sent him to rehab centers like Ohio Drug Rehab things would have been different today.

Since the family did not exert any effort to cure his addiction, he continued on his habit. And then one day while high on drugs he still choose to drive his motorcycle. That have ended his life, leaving her wife and two kids. It's a pity you know. If only the family have been honest enough to accept the problem and have sent him to a rehabilitation center. It does not have to be a Drug Rehab in Ohio, but a center who takes in those with addiction problem and help them recover.

I know the story of my friend is not unique. There are a lot of individuals out there who right now are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. There are a lot of institution who wanted to help. Take for example the Ohio Drug Rehabilitation. But this institution cannot be of help if the individual won't help himself. Recovery from addiction starts from withing.
