How's Your Weekend ?

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 25, 2008 5 comments
Mine is a busy one -- ONLINE. I posted 25 blog entries across three blogs on a Saturday and 11 on two blogs last Sunday. Good thing I got some rest yesterday because blogging is also tiring. But no complains on my part though. I needed everything to be coming in. Because I am spending too much when it comes to online shopping. lol. Yesterday I received my BATH and BODY WORKS SHOWER GEL AND BODY SPLASH (which I bought for only Php 750). It smells heavenly that right now the body splash is with my sister after bathing using my shower gel. Oh I love my sister. Not to mention that she borrowed one of my newly bought blouse ( she told me to let her wear it just once, she has a little figure so now that she's pregnant my ordinary clothes can served as her maternity clothes..haha!). Needless to say my sister loves everything I buy. In fact she has my nine west bag which I bought just a couple of months back and I haven't used yet. And yesterday she told me that she isn't going to pay me back the money I used to buy her RL bag since that would be my Christmas gift to her. Don't you just love her? Nah, I am not complaining. I love my sister to death even if sometimes she acts like I am older than her (she is five years older than me) and would try to raid what's in my closet. She's like a predator and my things are her prey. hahaha. And speaking of sisters, my brother on the other hand except for the hdd he is asking as a gift told me if I could buy him another CROCS. I gave him a CROCS last year which i got from buying my HP printer. So I need to work double time.

On a sad note it seems that the Bora trip might be cancelled because of the expenses we will be having come Christmas time. Though we will be received hubby's bonus (which equate to ONE MONTH SALARY..wohoo!) but we have a lot of payables. Though a bit dissappointed I have to prioritized but I am still thinking of going to Enchanted Kingdom this Christmas. I have a lot of plans and I still haven't move a bit. lol. Except for blogging I am don't move much around. I am too lazy to do anything. Because I am nervous of the result of my laboratory test. Once I got a hold of it and talk to my rheuma I think I would be a little better and more enthuastic of the coming holiday.

And lastly, I might not be that visible online once the husband is home. hahaha. He'll be home on Dec 6 until Jan 9. I would have the time of my life going to different malls on those times and make sure I will have somecredit card satisfaction.

A Mother's View on the Twilight Saga

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 4 comments
Indeed I enjoyed reading the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer as a woman who enjoys reading a book. Either it’s written nicely or badly. Reading has been a way for me to travel without going of the house. The Twilight saga has gain popularity but I would still say that it has not beaten HARRY POTTER (book or movie).

As a woman who has been in a relationship I would say Meyer was able to portray a very beautiful Edward that many of us girls would swoon and drool. He has a perfect face and body and is also a gentleman who possesses a lot of control over his wants and needs and as Bella would put it an angel despite being a vampire. Indeed Twilight has become a best seller because Meyer was able to plot romantic entanglements between human, vampires and werewolf. She was able to draw a picture a beautiful world which to us human is something we dread upon.

I was also happy reading how the vampires trained themselves to hunt wild animal to quench their thirst for human blood. How the werewolves came to protect the vampires despite the fact that in legends that two are enemies. I love how Carlisle and Esme adopted a bunch of vampire and treat them as family. Training them to avoid being harm to human race. The fourth book is the best of all the four books. For the past four days I drown myself into Meyer’s world I am happy to say that it was a good break from watching TV and blogging.

But as a mom who has a daughter I sometimes cringed at the thought that a very young girl at the age of 18 fell in love with a vampire, willing to trade her life to become an immortal (not putting a consideration on her parents), got married, became pregnant and gave birth. It’s really something to think about. I was thinking were the place for her parents. True Renee and Charlie are divorced but I don’t still think it’s fair to leave both her parents in the dark.

I was able to read some blogs that were not taken into the Twilight magic. And I think they are of the same age as Bella. They found some of the scenes creepy like Edward watching Bella sleep. Ha-ha. For the record I found that cute though. But as I said in my other blog I would wait until Anevay understand the world she lives in before I let her read the saga. I wouldn’t like her thinking she is Bella. Oh my dear, no way! Hahahaha.

It's Christmas

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 1 comments
this is what Anevay would always say when she sees christmas lights or christmas trees. She got that line from the cook commercial. Anyway, since its Christmas you might want to coordinate your eyeglasses with the coming holiday. Get your Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical.

Here's my choice :

The popular online eyeglasses shop, Zenni optical is now offering frames with were designed in tune to the coming Christmas season. Of course, there is still the $ 8 Complete Rx Eyeglasses. What are you waiting for. Go hurry and grab your holiday frame now!

Did you know how many post have I posted before this one? I think its more or less 15 entries for this blog alone. While the other blog, early this morning I posted eight. So right now I am clinging to my sanity to make sure there is still some more left for tonight. hahaha.

I am praying that the income will be pouring in, in time for Christmas so that we can treat the kids to a trip South. Which I bet they would love. The decided factor would be when will the trip be held. Anyway, will think about it when I got the funds.

Getting that Degree

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
For next year I am thinking of having to get a degree online. I am still weighing my options plus other factors that might be a road block in achieving another degree. This time a business degree. I have been searching for possible online schools that I can enroll into. I bet, Capella University can be a good one for me. This online university offers graduate programs in business, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, and public safety. It would be really nice if I can start the year by enrolling myself into a course online. What do you think?

Anyway here are the deliveries :

Wednesday - Dora Castle of Anevay
Thursday - Elmo hoody and pants
Friday - my two blouse
Saturday - Anevay's BF bottles

So who needs to go out for shopping. lol.

Half Blood Prince

While Twilight is creating a buzz, a lot of people are taking polls on which is better. HP or Twilight. Do you want to know my answer. Well, its HP still. Hands down.

As I said to my sister HP is for general patronage while Twilight is geared on a more mature audience. Eh isip bata ako so I am all for HP. But that does not mean I did not enjoy the saga. I did. But its all because of the fourth book.

Now while browsing around I saw some HP trailer. I am posting this one.

HP fans will still have to wait until July 19, 2009 for this one though.

Find a Beauty School

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
There are times when I found myself empty handed and my brain is free flowing. I would think of anything that passes by my thoughts. And most of the time I would write this thoughts down because I consider my ideas gold. Who knows what it might bring me in the future right? Like right now I wanted to look for some Beauty Schools. I don’t why. I was browsing FindaBeauty.com and I realized it can help me in making money, if I enroll and study. Ever since I come up with this urge to generate some more income at home I cannot shrugged the possibility of going to school again and learning some new things. I know it’s difficult with Anevay around but with the internet having offering information at the tip of your fingers no one will know what will happen.

Favorite Multiply Stores

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
There are a lot of multiply sites now that are selling stuff and I was so addicted browsing their sites. lol. Here are just a few of them wherein I have place an order and received it already.

  • PinoyIkea - Levi is accomodating. But of course since they will still order from Ikea it took them almost 3 weeks to deliver my order.
  • ComeandPlay - they have a lot of wooden toys but I can say they are a little bit on the expensive side.
  • KaiPlus - my favorite. This is where I buy blouses and Tshirts
  • LuckyDollStore - for sexy lingerie
  • Connectddots - Grace is from marikina so I just pick up my orders from their house. I bought four nautica shirts from her and was price for Php 400 each. She gave me 3 freebies : 2 pouch bag and one grocery bag.

My favorite EBAY Sellers

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 1 comments
One of the things that I wanted to do online except blogging is to hunt clothes, toys and anything I fancy at the moment in EBAY or sometimes I visit my favorite multiply stores. Yesterday, my sister asked me to email the ebay sellers that I am buying stuff from to a friend of my brother in law. Seems like she wanted to try buying from EBAY but was a little bit apprehensive. I think buying online is somewhat risky yes. But you have to have faith that you won't be scam. Keep praying. And well, if you are trying your hands for the first time in EBAY make sure you check the feedback for the seller.

So here are the list of ebay seller that I carried a smooth transaction with :

  • Stuffs4u4less - I bought a lot of stuff from Sheila and she is good seller. I was even able to chat with her on the phone since there was one time she was victimized by a bogus seller. And the seller outbid me. She relist the item and I was able to buy it in a discounted price. Sheila sells imported toys, bags and wallet.
  • Siobekymkym - Kym's item are focused on cartoons. She has everything that ranged from the disney princess, hello kitty, mickey mouse, winnie the pooh etc.
  • Bestbargain888 this is where I bought the Barbie kitchen set for Php 300. According to my sister she saw one being sold in Toy R Us @ Php 1000. This seller also starts her bidding low around Php 10.
  • AGSBEAGLE if you wanted to buy digital camera.
  • ShopperO - he sells mostly shoes and clothes for men. I was able to buy two Dickies hoodies from him.
  • Exquisite Joy - she sells mostly vtech and leap frog books
  • IshopnWin - the first seller I transact and she was very accomodating. She sells a lot of toys.
  • LilyChoi - has a lot of affordable blouse and dress.
But did you know that recently I have met two dissapointing sellers. Well they weren't bogus seller but they have disappointing products and services :
  • Ecommerce_trader - I bought bed sheets from this seller and the bed sheets are disappointments. Ung tela and the manner that it was sewn parang rush.
  • Happymom.0228 - this seller is a headache, really? I am not sure if its her younger sister who is coordinating the sale but she is somewhat rude when she answer back about my inquiries on the delay of the shipment. I paid her Nov 15 until now I haven't received my orders. Urgh! Frustrating. Bibigyan ko talaga sya ng negative.
Next stop the multiply stores that I frequent.

On Jewelries

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
My sister has been bugging me to ask the husband to buy her jewelries in Kuwait. But the husband is hesitant since he is not that familiar with my sister’s taste when it comes to jewelry. So I told my sister that it might not be possible. Feeling down and all, I showed her some designer costume jewelry from the internet. I know this can lift her spirit up. And I was right. She can’t seem to move her gaze away from the jewelry. The jewelry created by holstedjewelers.com is really of quality that you can’t help but drool. Imagine having this…
I wish the husband would give me one like this comes this Christmas.

Online Shopping

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
Being a mom, one of the conveniences that I discovered through Internet is online shopping. As my little girl grows it’s getting a bit hard for me to tag her along for my shopping activities. So I just settled on buying everything I need online. And I am less tired and pressured since I don’t have to walk that far nor line up just to get the things that I wanted. Now while searching on some medical stuff I stumbled upon AllegroMedical.com. This site host a lot of medical supplies like different types of electrodes. Not only that, this site is also giving away discounts for those who sign up. So hurry, grab a chance to get those quality supplies at a discounted price.

The Best Care at HOME

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
Have you experienced being hospitalized? Spending days after days in the confined of the hospital walls. Well, I did. And it's not an experienced to write about. One time during my solitary confinement I saw a brochure about home care. I was really intrigued about it but never had time to research more. For me the best place to be when you are sick or on the road of recovery is to be at home where you can be taken care of by the people you love and who loves you with the guidance of course of health professionals like those in Fort Lauderdale Home Health Care. This home health care strives to take care of the patience and lead him/her to a successful recovery. And this is done in the comforts of your own home. This way would not only be cost effective but would also assure speedy recovery because sometimes hospitals can add to the stress.

Sale! Sale! Sale!

thoughts of MiLeT @ Saturday, November 22, 2008 0 comments
Christmas sale are everywhere! I wanted to go out and do some shopping but as of now my hands are tied since if I do my shopping now Anevay would have to go with me so that post some hassle along the way. I'll be waiting until hubby is here. He will be arriving on the 6th of December. Christmas is now complete for us. To make it more fun I plan to buy the stuff the kids wanted online. Online shopping has always been convenient on my part especially if its free shipping. No long lines, no carrying of heavy loads.

Done for this blog

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 1 comments
I though I only needed to do four entries before I head over to my other blog and write four more there. But I was wrong and I am happy that my assumption was wrong. haha. I won't complain since I needed some extra funding. Since I am bugging hubby about the Boracay vacation I so wanted to have. And then there is the non stop online shopping for gifts which I always justify by saying that the money I spend is not even half of what I am earning online now. haha. I know that's just a palusot. I would be much better if I just save the money, right? But a girl has to stop. lol. And I only shop for bare necessites. Bare nga ba? Anyway, I received my Twilight books today and I am still expecting two more orders for Xendpress. Antagal!

Do I need it?

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
Last week I am having some internet connection issues. At around 10pm I would experienced a slow down. My connection is crawling like I was hooked up via dial up. This happen everyday last week. To top that on Friday, i started having some intermittent connection. I called their helpdesk but was told to monitor. The next day I called them again only to be told that my ticket was closed already. I was fuming! It was not the first time that my ticket was closed without even anybody from their office calling me and asking me what my problem was. In the end, the technical person told me that they are having network problems on their side. Anyway, I was thinking if I should have a Slingbox installed at our place. Hmm...let me asked hubby first.

What do you think?

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
I am in for a serious thinking about our Christmas decoration. hahah. Kala mo serious noh? But really I am planning on making our house have the Christmas spirit. I shoved off the idea of using the big Christmas tree but instead I bought a smaller one from NBS. I wanted to fill our house with lights but I am afraid of having some electrical issues. Then I wanted go and ask some curtain makers to sew up curtains for the house using fabric with Christmas prints on it. haha. I am going all out this Christmas. I also decided to put the some christmas lights to decorate the outside of our house. In fact we already have a big Christmas lantern waiting to be put up. But as I told everybody, one step at a time. I need to finished cleaning first and dispose some old things before decorating. URgh! I wished I can finished all this task before hubby goes home.

Time to Shop!

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
I have been spending so much time on EBAY.PH this past couple of days. Well, as I was telling some friends over at PLURK, majority of my christmas shopping will be done online. Of course, I would love to go out and battle my way through Christmas sales but I guess that have to wait until hubby's vacation (fingers crossed). I have been asking the kids what christmas gifts they would like to received but they can't seem to make up their mind on what they like. Would you believe who already have a wish list? My older brother. haha. He was asking me to give him an external hard drive with a player and he has a special request -- for hubby to put in some movie in it. lol. My older sister has one like this which she bought from us. So now my brother wanted one also. Let see. The husband told me he might be able to buy one.

Wrap Up

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
Before I curl up to bed and started my Twilight Saga Marathon, I told myself to finish every online jobs first. That way I won't be thinking of deadlines and would enjoy meeting Edward and Bella. I am not looking forward to the movie since its impossible for me to watch it on the big screen.

For those of you who are interested, you can now order books online through POWERBOOKS. I ordered my books last Thursday, received confirmation on Friday and the books were delivered today. Hassle free, right? And I am so thankful because I thought it would be impossible for me to grab a copy of the first Twilight book locally. Imagine, I only paid for this :

Make or Break

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
I always believe that having a business should be well planned. You have to consider everything there is to consider by making a feasibility report of the business. This is what I always tell my husband since he is so eager to start a business of our own but I told him I wanted to take it slow. Slowly but surely, taking calculated steps. And with today's economy slowing down its not really an option to start on building one.

But if ever you wanted to make sure your business is up and running and is sound enough to beat out competitors I think you needed to incorporate some modules or process that has a tie up with information technology. Admit it or not, IT has been a major mover in the business today. And an NY IT outsourcing company would be a good plus factor when it comes to establishing your business firmly on the ground.

That's also the reason why I told hubby that if we are going to have a business it would be nice if we can invite three to five colleagues who are not only interested in investing but also knows a lot about IT.

Pre Christmas Cleaning Day 1 and Day 2

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
I am planning to do some general cleaning in our house but never get around to do it until last Friday. At first I was only tidying up to look for a missing receipt and then I decided to go on full blast targetting our cabinet. Our cabinet can no longer accomodate additional clothes and linens so I decided to let go some of our things. In the end I was able to give away some clothes to those in need.

Sunday, found us at Robinsons Pioneer so I was not able to do something in terms of cleaning. I am hoping that my camera would be fixed and everything will be shouldered by the warranty.

Anyway, day 2 of my pre christmas cleaning is today. And my target. Anevay's toys. Gosh! I spend half of my day sorting her toys that are on our living room. I haven't even touched those that are in one of our cabinets. I am donating some of her toys to the MAAGA ang PASKO drive of JOLLIBEE. At first I thought of posting her things in EBAY but decided otherwise. I am much happier knowing that some little girl or little boy out there would be happy receiving this toys for free.

So there. Not sure until when is the pre christmas cleaning thing is but I am telling myself to spend more time offline that online. I think that is much better.

It Feels a lot like Christmas

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 18, 2008 0 comments
And my mood is getting better. When I started the house cleaning I also started to feel the Christmas spirit. Not to mention that I also play my Christmas CD everyday. And of course the much awaited vacation of the husband. If everything falls into place he will be here on December 9. But if not, then I won't be talking to him ever (hahaha.lol. that's how childish I am when I am talking to him).

Sales are everywhere. I read the Richwell sales in Mhay's blog and I cannot help but missed being on that area everyday. The Richwell sale started if I am not mistaken in 2005. But they occupied a space inside the Topy Compound (which is where we are located).Until they move out to a bigger space in Industria.

Speaking of office during these season I missed having to received that hefty bonus (which would make me frown because its taxable) and of course the Holiday Party in our division. That party started in 2001 when our division was put in a different location ( a few meters away from our main office) and I would be the one to organized it. The first few years were the most memorable since a lot of IBM products where given away (I was able to win an AS400 jacket). Now, things are a lot different in that division. They move in to a different location and is now headed by a new manager.

But for those of you who are in search of holiday party ideas you might want to try Celebrations.com.

A lot to think ABOUT!

thoughts of MiLeT @ Friday, November 14, 2008 3 comments
It's Friday already. And its the 14th on November. Ang bilis! I am looking forward to next month and keeping my fingers crossed that hubby can secure that vacation that would allow him to spend one whole month with us. The vacation will be confirmed by next week and until that confirmation I would still be edgy.

I woke up early today, was able to grab two jobs online which are above the minimun. As we say 'quota na!'. My little angel is still sleeping because she slept late last night. I was able to put her to bed by 11pm. She took a nap from 6pm to 8pm. Her sleeping schedule has been in total disarray this past couple of weeks. I am trying to make her sleep early by either not making her take her usual afternoon nap but my attempts are futile. I just surrendered to the thought that the change in sleeping habits is a part of her growing up.

There are a lot of things in my mind right. Actually the things = expenses. Toink! And with the economy going on a dip I am trying my best not to over indulge. But just the same I know I'll be spending a fortune on december because I need to go under the knife again. But this time for tooth extraction. And I think it would cost me 20k. And then I wanted to have my hair rebonded. That's another 7k+. I will used the AZTA COUPON IN MY BDJ planner (so mga first week of Jan ako paparebond, sayang ung 20% off, ang mahal pa man din sa AZTA). And then the Christmas Getaway : I am choosing between PALAWAN, BORACAY and HONGKONG. At this point its BORACAY or it might get cancelled. Boracay because its the cheapest among all my options. And I already said this, I have a 20% off on accomodation on one of the cottages in STATION 2.

The truth is I am not sure what service St. Vincent cottages has. It's not a very popular one in the internet. But with its cheap rate and the discount I am tempted to try it. Un ay if I get the nod of approval from my husband.

Okay, I am a little bit relieved since I was able to unload some of my thoughts in my blog.

---

This cracks me up. Every time Anevay needed assistance she would always shout 'Mommy, help!' or 'Help!'. Yesterday I was lmao because every time she needed help she would shout 'Help You! Help You!'. In between laughs, I would correct her HELP ME! Avey, say Help Me!. Then she would say 'Help You!'. O sya, help you na kung help you!

I need to talk to you

thoughts of MiLeT @ Thursday, November 13, 2008 0 comments
To unload all the things in my mind. I have so much to say, I have so much to discussed. I know through you I can have a clear mine. Once I have that discussion with you I'll know which path to take.

I wanted to turn the hands of time. To make November flies and for December to start. Daddy, I hope you could pull it off so that you can secure that vacation. That way, even just for a month I can have someone to share all this thoughts.

Anyway, I'll be waiting for you. Impatiently waiting. Okay, enough of the mushy stuff. haha! I'll research about diet pill now.

My Little Englisera

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 11, 2008 3 comments
Anevay have been very talkative nowadays and we are amused as to how she converse. She talks to us in straight English.

Here are some of our conversation :

This is our favorite questions. Not only me but also her aunts and uncles plus her cousins :

Mommy : Anevay, are you ok?
Anevay: Yes, I'm okay
Mommy : Are you sure?
Anevay : Sure!

While playing she went inside our room and showed me something

Anevay: Mommy, it's broken!
Mommy : What happen?
Anevay: I never did it! (guilty...lol!)

While inside the bookstore, paying for my books I saw her go towards the door

Mommy : Anevay, wait! Don't go outside!
Anevay : Don't worry, Mommy! I'm here!

Before going to sleep

Mommy : Good night Anevay!
Anevay : Good night, Mommy! Sweet dreams! Love you!
(she would say also this line while putting her toys to sleep. she would even tucked them to sleep)

Here are some of her favorites lines

- Mommy, where are you? Once she found me she'll say 'There you are!'
- It's broken
- What happen?
- What's going on?
- I found it
- So heavy!
- Wow! Beautiful! Amazing! (this are the words she keep on telling when we were saw the lanterns on the road from Pampanga to Manila)
- watch tv! I like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
- no more tv (when I switched off the tv) or no more na name of the program (once her fave program ended)
- she likes to shout 'surprise!'
- she likes to be called princess anevay. when i call her princess anevay, she'll call me princess mommy. hahaha!

there are so many things that she do now. in fact, you can already talk to her and she'll tell you want she wants. I will try to teach her to write now since she loves to scribble so that next school year I can enroll her already in the school near our house.

there you go, i was able to do some update on the little girl.

To Do's

I know I am procastinating. There are some many things to do just before December comes. It's a good thing that I was able to issue 12 cheque's for the PAGIBIG HOUSING LOAN. We have successfully completed the one year without a problem. Hopefully this would go on until we finished the housing loan.

For the next week I plan to clean up Anevay's toy box. Some of the toys I plan to give in Jollibee's Maaga ang Pasko Drive. I have yet to sort the toys but hopefully by next week I would have accomplished that. Now let's got find some las vegas strip map

I don't know when can I find that really good mood to write something on my four blogs. There are a lot of things that I wanted to write but I am torn between reading a good book, taking care of anevay and being lazy. hahaha. What a combination, right?

Okay, to put me in my blogging mood let's start off with an update. Well, I am still feeling some aches here and there. Making me realized that LUPUS has a disadvantage on me when it comes to taking care of the little girl. I cannot take her out without having a joint pain the next day.

On the home front, I am happy to purchase additional four bed sheet. Two from SM Marikina and other two from EBAY. I have yet to received the one I bought from EBAY. I was able to take a picture of the one I bought in SM Marikina.

This is our room and yes we don't have a bed. At the rate of Anevay's being malikot and all I don't think we will be having one any time sooner. This is where Anevay and I sleep. It's a double and queen size mattress. You might be thinking its too big for just the two of us. Well, when we sleep we occupy the right side. The morning when we wake up we will be on the right side. Ganyan kalikot matulog si Anevay. lol. And yes, we have three bed mates -- MICKEY MOUSE, DORA and BARNEY. I just bought an additional today. JOLLIBEE.

ON the other side of the world, hubby is in GERMANY for one week. And for the first time this week I was able to catch him online. Its there last day today and he will be flying back to Kuwait tomorrow. And I think one of the reason why I don't blog much this day is that I am a bit uneasy and impatient for December. The month he will be coming home. Oh! I miss my man terribly.

For my little princess, well, she sometimes wanted to be called PRINCESS Anevay. When you asked her name she would answer you PRINCESS aNEVAY. lol. She loves to sing every commercial jingle she can memorized (pati nga ung song ni Piolo sa SPEED kabisado nya). She really talkative. I have to write a different post about all the lines she uses since mejo mahaba na post ko. lol.

Anevay looks like...

thoughts of MiLeT @ Tuesday, November 04, 2008 5 comments
This has been a long overdue tag from Vannie. So long overdue that I forgot what the name of the tag is. And I am too tired to scan my blog to get the write title. Anyway I know what the tag is about. It's about who Anevay looks like.

Everytime we go outside Anevay would attract a lot of attention. It does not help that I would talk to her in straight English and she would answer me back in English. This is the reason why every stranger we met would deduced that Anevay's father is a foreigner. Sometimes it irritates me but most of the time I just laugh it off.

I know many of you are also curious about Anevay's feature. To determine where she get those features, let me share hubby and my childhood pics.

first of, hubby. not sure how old he is at this time. in fairness when anevay show this picture she kept on saying, 'Avey, Avey!'. Meaning she thought it was a picture of her.

now hold your breath, lol. while i show you my picture taken when I was four years old.

now look at this picture of Anevay taken just a couple of weeks back

even I was amazed by the resemblance. lol. And you might be thinking where we got that meztiza look, well, look at this picture....

that's my Papa. and for the record, my father is a Filipino. hahahaha!

So what do you think? Anevay look like who?

Where to?

I already set my mind that we are going to Palawan this December. In my mind I am already computing the cost and how much I needed for that vacation. But the truth is I am having second thought on our destination among other things that I need to reconsider.

Anyway, since the sun was shining today I decided to go out to do some grocery shopping and to buy some more pocketbooks. While on the bookstore, a lady came by asking the cashier for the owner since she wanted to promote their Boracay Package. Of course my curiosity perked up and asked her about it. She is offering a discount card which is valid until March 2010. This card will entitle the holder of 20% discount on the rates of their cottages for peak season and 50% on off peak. I was doubtful about the offer because its too good to be true. The card only cost Php 299.

Of course, although cynical about the offer I did purchase the card. lol. Because I saw the rates and I know it would save me a lot of money. So now I needed to talk to the husband about going to Boracay instead (let's start preparing the hat). I am keeping my fingers crossed that this out of town would push through.

Manic Monday #140

How many hours of TV do you watch per week? Do you feel that's too much, not enough or just right?

hmmm, our TV is always turned ON and tuned in PLAYHOUSE DISNEY everyday. Which I think is too much. So I am trying to limit the viewing time but somethis its too quiet in the house with only me and the little girl so the tv helps.

Which of the 5 senses do you feel is your strongest sense?

I thinks it the sense of hearing. When I was in the hospital I have develop this habit of sensing who would come in my hospital room via footstep. Later on, I would also apply this habit in the office. And I am always right in guessing the person by his/her footstep.

What's the wackiest belief you held as a child?

That the house of my aunt just beside our house in the province is haunted since a lot of our relatives have died there. lol.

More manic monday participants here!
