The Trip HOME

Every since I got LUPUS, going home to Pampanga was one of the things that have been shoved in my to do list. Added to the fact that we don't have a place to stay since our house is now a big dust collector. lol.

And sad to say, going to cementery to visit my deceased parent on NOV 1 was no longer practiced because of the crowd and to many things that happened in the past. Its a family tradition every since I was born (and before that I guessed) to be at the memorial park on the night of NOV 1. It seems like a family reunion on my mommy side.

Years passed and things have changed. I think for ten years now this is my first time to do that tradition again. And I am happy to share it with the younger generation.

So, last Nov 1 we travelled from Marikina to Pampanga. I again rented a van. Though I grew up riding a bus but when I had LUPUS and having the kids around we always travel via private cars. And its really a wise choice because Buma have a motion sickness. Before we even reach BALINTAWAK exit, she is already complaining about her stomache. Luis on the other hand was quiet un pala he is feeling some discomfort na and he did throw up eventually.

Once we got home in Pampanga, the little girl started going around. Which is really tiring since we have a huge compound. She was running after the ducks and ducklings, playing with the hand pump and my older brother gave her a stick so that she can write in the sand.
