YM, TWITTER or PLURK ?

I never was a big user of this website until now. When I was still working, I started using AOL. But then I was blocked in my previous office and I remember one 'friend' getting jealous over the fact that her friend (potential bf) also spend time chatting with me.

Then the birth of YM. I only used it on few occasions. Like when my brother went to Saudi for work. Its way cheaper talking that way. But in the office we also have an instant messaging system so I used it over YM. When the husband and majority of my officemate turn friends went to Middle East for work that was the time I got to be active in YM. When my computer is turned off, my YM is in SMS mode so that the hubby can message me anytime.

These past few weeks, I was introduced to two more messaging platform in the internet. Twitter and Plurk ? I've know about Twitter first. And I was asking myself what's the difference between YM and Twitter ? Well, in TWITTER you can type a message and it will be seen by everybody in your network. It can also be used in Firefox using the TWITTERFOX add on.

While using TWITTERFOX, I learn about PLURK. Again what's the difference ? Although Firefox nor IE has an add on for PLURK, I still got addicted to it. Seems, PLURK is a hang out for mommy bloggers who are trying to earn money online. I am enjoying the exchange of thoughts and new friendship being developed through PLURK.

But whatever you chose maybe it be YM, PLURK or TWITTER you have one purpose to COMMUNICATE. And I am loving these three because it somehow help me get through the day to day routine of being a stay at home mom.
