during the weekend update some were happy, some were not. Because some improved their rankings, some drop theirs and other did not gain nor loss. But one should asked how come mine did not saw any changes as compared to other bloggers.

My answer is that its not on the stats but rather on the type of visits and visitors. For me there are two types of visits : the visit that stay on your blog a little longer and the visit that bounce. It would have been better for a blog to have visits that stayed for more than 0 second. As for the visitors, there are loyal visitors and there are new visitors. It would be healthy if there is a 50/50 share of this visitors. Which would mean that you have readers who keep on coming back to read your new entries and there are those who new ones who found your blog either by bloghopping or search engines.

And I think one of the best factor when it comes the consideration of ranking are the COMMENTS. Go around and observed. Those high ranking blogs have several comments one very post. That's the reason I put value on comments.
