So yesterday we went to the ballet dance studio. The ballet teacher let us in the studio while she was teaching four little girls ( i think they are around 4 years old). Seeing the little girls I already wanted to say goodbye and back out of the idea of enrolling Anevay.
But I took that time to sit and observed the ballet lesson while my little girl is struggling to free herself from my embrace so that she can line up with the kids and do their drills. Anevay really wanted to dance but seeing the method of the ballet teacher made me tell myself that it is not yet time.
I know that ballet dancing requires a lot of discipline that's why I was not surprised that there was no warmth when the teacher greeted us. Yet, I was hoping that during the course of the lesson she would incorporate play with dancing -- she didn't.
I was telling myself that maybe I have been used to the teaching in play school and if its the kind of teaching she would be facing every week, i am not looking forward to it. So, I shoved the idea of enrolling her and say goodbye to the receptionist. I did not even wait for the lesson so finished. hehe.
