Longing is Painful!

Last night my older sister and his husband went out for a drive to my older brother’s house to give them pizza. When they told me this, I suddenly felt lonely. No, not because Anevay and I would be left in the house. But rather, I suddenly yearn to have my husband on my side. I miss him terribly. I miss the time we go around for a drive at night. I am trying to avoid verbalizing that longing because doing so is just so painful to me. It will be two years on October since he started his job as an engineer in Kuwait. Although he was able to come home for short visits, it’s just different when you get to see him everyday. He too, is battling against his own feelings. But we know it was our choice. And for now we have to bear with it.
