The Jewel of San Diego

thoughts of MiLeT @ Sunday, September 07, 2008
Do you know what I am pertaining to? Do you know the place they call the Jewel of San Diego? Well, it's La Jolla. Actually, some say that La Jolla is derived from the Spanish work la joya which means the jewel. This term apply to this place because its a wealthy seaside resort community.

And we all know that if the place is in the seaside it would really attract a lot of tourist. Not only that, La Jolla today is developed in such a way that its estate owners are really wealthy people. Beside the sea, it is also home to Torrey Pines Golf Course where the PGA Tour's Buick Invitational is being held annually.

Because of all this attraction there would also be a lot of La Jolla hotels that are always ready to welcome motorist and tourist that wishes to spend some of their time in La Jolla.

I'm not here to pitch you my wife's dance school (she's on the other side of the country) but to agree with you. Here's a quote from an article about her:

To capture the imagination of her very youngest students, Hart uses storytelling, encouraging the children to “jump over alligators” (to execute step, step, gran jete), do “Toad Mobile,” (alternate flexing and pointing of feet) and make “windshield wipers” (rotate at the hips to turn feet in and out).

At that age, class should be playful, and there are the type of teachers out there that you are looking for :)
