Well, for me anything that uses cables and does not depend on airwaves. haha. Based on my experience, wireless connectin always have intermittent connection. I have used three diffent companies for my internet connection at home. The first two were wireless and both gave me headache one time or another. First is the wireless phone of DIGITEL -- MANGO and second one is GLOBE's SPEAK n SURF.
It was such a blessing that when we bought this house last year there was an existing PLDT line. We have been applying for a landline from PLDT for years now but all they say is that they don't have a free slot in our area (Marikina). When the transfer of ownership was done I immediately applied for a DSL. I did not avail of their promo but rather I applied for a package that is a notch higher. My reasoning is that many have avail the promo and too many users makes up a congested line.
For PLDT xcite, I am running at around 1600kbps everytime of the day. And when I meet some downtime, their engineers would be here at our house after I log a call. But I think not all are satisfied customers like me.

i think PLDT still is the best option. i first tried it with our computer shop in baguio and it never failed me. then when i moved in here in laguna, we applied for dsl through PLDT also and so far we are still among those of their satisfied clients :)
