Okay for clarity, bounce rate is created when an EC dropper drop his/her card and then close his/her internet browser. You can see whose visits bounces by checking the time spent on your blog. If your are using sitemeter for your site, go see the list of your visitors by referral. Here is an example :
Number 30 visit is referred to by entrecard and the tool tip shows the details. The visitor's ISP is pldt and it only viewed 1 page and stayed for 00:00. That's already a bounce rate. And checked all visits referred by entrecard and you will see this kind of visits.
My other blog is already attracting a lot of visitors and I don't need visitors whose visit bounces so I removed my EC widget. And I decided to do it on this blog as well. I will just participate on memes. At least majority of the participants on meme leave comments so there won't be bounces.
P.S. Staying on the site for a few seconds does not mean your drop does not bounce. YOU HAVE TO CLICK SOMETHING ON THE BLOG, another page or the comment link, any internal link to avoid bounces. Just in case you don't know a high bounce rate affects your google and alexa rating.
Oh, by the way, its not only EC drops that increases bounce rate do you know that messages in the CBOX no matter how long also causes bounce rate ?
