Mommy in ME

Thanks Edz for this tag.

Question : What I love most about being a mom?

When I decided to become a full time mom, many have been shocked. To many people I am your career oriented woman who knows her way to the top. From kindergarten until college, I am a GO GETTER. I never settled for second best. As I learned the tricks of the trade, God have thrown an obstacle on my path. An obstacle that now I consider God's message to me TO STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS.

Because of LUPUS, I have live a life of fear and resentment. Fear that I won't be able to wake up tomorrow and resentment because I have to endure such suffering for this life. But through LUPUS I have seen the undying support of my family and the unconditional love of my then boyfriend now husband. When we got married, I doubted my capability to give birth. And if I get pregnant there are a lot of considerations to be taken care of.

In fact when I got married and i told my rheuma about it, he enumerated everything to me. What would happen when I got pregnant. This resulted in me writing all my fears here. But that did not stop us or should I say it was god's plan for us to have a child.

So you ask what I love most in being a MOM ?

Everyday I received tiny kisses and sweet hugs. Those are enough reward for me on a tiring day. I always hear MOMMY and I LOVE YOU coming from a little one who is still learning words and on her way to expanding her vocabulary. I always feel those little hands wrap with mine asking me to lead the way. And those embraces that needed assurance that I am always at her side.

Being a mom has been one of the greatest gift I received in my life. Having my daughter has been a living testimony that God has trust in my capability to hone HIS own creation. Being a mom has given me the privilege of a front seat VIP ticket to witness a flower coming to a full bloom. It also gave me access in nurturing and watering that flower to make sure it blooms properly. And lastly, being a mom always reminds me that MIRACLES DO HAPPEN if just KEEP ON BELIEVING and PRAYING.

Now, I'm passing this question to Mhay and Lilet.
